Abstract

The calculation procedure of the relative radius of curvature evolute gears is considered. It is certain, that in zone near a pitch point there is double-convex contact, on what the theory evolute gear specifies also. This zone is not constant on a tooth height, and depends on several parameters. It is offered to deliver of this zone by basic rack updating. On other part of a tooth profile contact stress below then contact stress in the similar involute gear.
