Abstract

The mathematical model of prediction of quality indicators of the surface layer of gear rails is developed, which allows to control the structure and technological parameters for maintenance of operational properties of toothed rails, which is characterized by a complex state of treated surfaces taking into account geometrical parameters, physical-mechanical properties and technological regulations of processing. The method of determining the minimum values of slip angle φск during milling of rails with disk drives is developed to achieve the required quality of the surface layer of gear rails, expressed in terms of the coefficient of efficiency of forming Кфр.
