Abstract
Рассмотрены этапы развития общей экологии и оформление в ее составе экологической геологии (экогеологии), элементы которой зарождались уже в древней истории и в средние века. Как самостоятельное научное направление экологическая геология оформилась лишь с конца 1980-х годов.
