Abstract
Creating favorable conditions for the development of innovative processes - primarily concern the public authorities. Without these conditions, it is impossible to achieve a breakthrough in the field of innovation, particularly in enhancing competitiveness. The features use priorities in the national innovation policy. Author determined strategic directions of innovation activity in Ukraine. Grounded especially the formation of innovation and R & D priorities in Ukraine today.
