Криптовалюта як інструмент фінансового ринку

Abstract

Метою дослідження є визначення особливостей функціонування, ролі та місця криптовалют у системі фінансового ринку. Ринок криптовалют, що виник трохи більше десяти років тому, зазнав швидкого розвитку та трансформацій, ставши важливою частиною глобальної фінансової системи. Сьогодні ринок криптовалют являє собою складну систему, яка включає тисячі різних монет і токенів, блокчейн-платформи, криптовалютні біржі, гаманці та інші інфраструктурні елементи. Обсяг капіталізації цього ринку сягає кількох сотень мільярдів доларів, а щоденні обсяги торгів можна порівняти з традиційними фондовими біржами. Результати проведеного дослідження дозволили визначити особливості функціонування, атрибутивні ознаки та функції криптовалют, визначити роль і місце ринку криптовалют у системі фінансів.

The aim of this study is to identify the specific features of the functioning, role, and position of cryptocurrencies within the financial market system. Emerging just over a decade ago, the cryptocurrency market has undergone rapid development and transformation, becoming an integral part of the global financial system. Today, the cryptocurrency market represents a complex ecosystem, comprising thousands of different coins and tokens, blockchain platforms, cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, and other infrastructural elements. The market's capitalization reaches several hundred billion dollars, with daily trading volumes comparable to those of traditional stock exchanges. The results of this study have enabled us to determine the key characteristics, attributes, and functions of cryptocurrencies, and to define the role and position of the cryptocurrency market within the broader financial system.
