Methodological instructions before conducting practical training

Abstract

The internship, which is conducted for full-time bachelors in the specialty F5 (125) “Cybersecurity and Information Protection”, is part of the core disciplines and must take place within the deadlines established in the educational process schedule. To connect the beginning of training in the specialty with practical implementation, industrial practice is intended. Industrial practice, which is carried out in the third year and the second year of study on the basis of a junior specialist, is external and is intended to familiarize students with solving tasks on applied issues of the studied specialized disciplines regarding the implementation of basic information protection processes on practice bases, which can be production and non-production objects of economic activity of Ukraine. Based on the results of the practical training, a relationship is formed between the theory and practice of the disciplines taught in the first, second and third years on the methods of analyzing countermeasures against modern hybrid attacks, assessing the current level of security and choosing countermeasure mechanisms when studying the state of the subject area based on practice, analyzing the network infrastructure, technical means of a comprehensive information protection system, and the possibilities of its improvement in the conditions of modern threats. According to production practice, the methodological recommendations indicate the organizational, substantive and reporting aspects of achieving the goal of the practice.
