Evaluation of the suitability of lignite of the Dnipro Basin for the production of montan wax in modern conditions. (determination of the minimum bitumen content in brown coal for cost-effective production.)

Abstract

The dependence of the internal rate of return (profitability) of investments in the construction of a plant for the complex processing of brown coal and the production of montan wax and fuel briquettes on the bitumen content and the productivity of the brown coal processing plant is studied. The ranges of enterprise productivity depending on the bitumen content in coal, at which the present value of montan wax allows to be competitive in the world market, are calculated.
