dc.description.abstractThis research addresses the growing need for efficient AC generators, highlighting limitations of existing self-excited types. Focusing on synchronous reluctance generators with dual stator windings, the study analyzes the impact of winding configuration on energy characteristics. Comparing single-layer and two-layer arrangements with varying phase displacements, the findings reveal that a two-layer design with a two-slot phase shift optimizes performance, achieving 92.5% efficiency at 160kW with reduced torque pulsations and harmonics
