Abstract

The paper describes developed by us technique to determine specific surface of insulating materials by accounting total volume of H₂O molecules adsorbed within monolayer on their surface at room temperature. It is shown that usage of the insulating materials with developed surface and good adsoption of gases emitted by them as separators within heat shielding in various cryovessels and cryosystems provides reduction of the gas pressure and heat conductivity factor in a thermal superinsulation packet.
