Current state of the sulfuric acid industry in Ukraine

Abstract

Sulfuric acid is a strategic chemical product, the volume and quality of which determine the condition of a country's chemical industry as a whole. It is widely used in fertilizer production, metallurgy, and other industrial sectors. This work highlights the role of catalysts in sulfuric acid synthesis and discusses the necessity of improving vanadium catalysts and creating domestic production in Ukraine.
