Abstract

Innovative development forms the basis of the production process of enterprises. Investments in innovation can provide significant success for an enterprise, but they are also associated with significant risk. Any entrepreneu rial activity is commercial by nature, involves making a profit. Entrepreneurial innovation is associated with the improvement of knowledge, bringing an innovative ideas to the development of goods that are in demand in the markets, expectations to receive innovative profits. An entrepreneur is a connecting link between the invention and the innovation. Entrepreneur develops and implements innovations, is ready to take risks and responsible for the financial, moral and social consequences of innovation. In economic development, entrepreneurship, focusing on the development of promising areas, is able to ensure a change in the structure of the economy, contributes to the creation of a positive competitive environment and rational use of resources, is an incentive for highly efficient labor. Entrepreneurship is considered a source of innovation and change. Innovation component is capable of modifications. Innovative business activities include scientific, technical, organizational, financial and commercial activities. It is the most important component of promoting innovations to consumers. Improving the mechanism for managing innovation in the process of forming a market economic system involves the creation of a system of developed innovative entrepreneurship. Innovative entrepreneurship is an activity that requires creative thinking, finding new solutions, understanding the interaction of competing forces, making varions decisions. Innovative entrepreneurship in modern condition is crucial in ensuring economic growth, competitiveness, creating jobs and solving social problems. It is revealed that the development of innovative entrepreneurship is determined by a system of prerequisites such as the regulatory framework and government support, market environment and market conditions, access to resources (financial, human, information and knowledge), entrepreneurial skills and culture. Innovative entrepreneurship is the scope of innovative, young and fast-growing, small and medium enterprises. A study was conducted on the causes of low profitability and problems of ensuring the profitability of enterprise innovations. The main directions for increasing the profitability of innovations are determined. The main directions of actions to increase the level of profitability of modern enterprises are revealed. It is concluded that the main factors determining the profitability of innovations are associated with initial costs, speed of implementation, scale of innovation, ancillary costs.
