Abstract

Bolted joints are widespread detachable connections, thus the question of the strength and reliability of such compounds being a part of the water turbines has great practical significance. This paper reviews the mathematical models for assessing the reliability of bolted joints taking into account the maintenance features and the influencing environmental factors. Considerable attention is paid to modern nonlinear models based on the damage parameter.
