dc.description.abstractSubstantiation of the technical appearance of nonlinear short-range radar system designed to detect and measure the characteristics of objects with nonlinear electrical properties is the main topic of this article. The general principles of constructing short-range radar system are described in the form of their structural diagrams and algorithms for their operation, which ensure the maximization of the signal-to-noise power ratio at the output of the receiving device. An optimal procedure for distinguishing a noise-like signal against a background of noise and interference was proposed on the basis of measuring the moment characteristics of the probability distributions of signals and interference.en
