Про обмежену тривалість вільних коливань осцилятора з нелінійно в’язким опором

Abstract

Показано, що при дії сили степенево-нелінійного в’язкого опору лінійно пружний осцилятор може мати область застою вільних коливань, як і при дії сили сухого тертя Кулона. Тоді, отримавши задане початкове відхилення від положення рівноваги, такий осцилятор здійснює обмежену кількість розмахів, тобто його вільні коливання проходять на скінченному проміжку часу, що зазвичай спостерігається на практиці. В цьому принципова відмінність коливань розглянутого нелінійного осцилятора від класичного дисипативного лінійного, де вільні затухаючі коливання тривають у часі до нескінченності, бо відсутня область застою. З’ясовано умови, коли сила нелінійного в’язкого опору призводить до появи області застою. Наведено приклади розрахунків вільних коливань і проведено порівняння результатів, одержаних різними способами.

It is shown that under the action of the force of nonlinear viscous resistance, a linearly elastic oscillator can have a stagnation region of free oscillations, as under the action of the Coulomb's dry friction force. Then, having received a given initial deviation from the equilibrium position, such an oscillator performs a limited number of swings, i. e., its free oscillations occur over a finite period of time, which is usually observed in practice. This is the fundamental difference between the oscillations of the considered nonlinear oscillator andthe classical dissipative linear one, where free oscillations continue infinitely, since there is nostagnation region. The conditions are determined when the force of nonlinear viscous resistance leads to the appearance of a stagnation region. Examples of calculations of free oscillations are given and the results obtained by applying different methods are compared.
