G.; Chebotarev, Mykola; Hrabar, NataliiaThe study considers approaches to defining the essence of the “national interest” concept, taking into account its genesis and the presence of two approaches to its understanding – idealistic and realistic. It is established that the national interest can be called the goals and objectives of state domestic and foreign policy, the implementation of which ensures progressive democratic development, as well as safe living conditions and welfare of its citizens. For constructive and detailed research of the specified object special methods were used: sociological interrogation, analysis and synthesis, generalization, forecasting and modeling, formal-logical, comparative-legal etc. With the help of a systematic approach, structural-functional, comparative and institutional methods the conclusions of the article were formed. As part of the creative team for research, a sociological study was conducted on the implementation of national interests in Ukraine, which allowed to establish that the least guaranteed among the national interests by respondents consider ecological and biological safety. A number of factors have been identified that make the provision of biosafety a matter not of single country but many countries. In pursuance of one of the items of the Decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine “On challenges and threats to national security of Ukraine in the environmental sphere and priority measures to neutralize them”, a functional basis for biosafety is proposed, and an algorithm to identify and respond quickly to potential biological threats.Документ Comparative analysis of leadership training concepts in high schools in the UK and Ukraine(НТУ "ХПІ", 2016) Romanovskyi, O. Ye.The paper presents a consistent comparative analysis of the leadership training concepts in the United Kingdom and Ukraine, based on the example of the University of Greenwich and the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute". We define basic principles of leadership training at the Department of pedagogy and psychology of social systems management. Special attention is paid to the importance of implementing a synergetic approach in the training of modern managers-leaders. It is shown that its implementation in the education system is constrained by the ineffective organization of students' self-study and insufficient theoretical development of new constructs. The content of the readiness of future specialists for professional activity, and the role of the competence-based approach in its improvement are revealed. The necessity of developing a common understanding of the content of qualifications in terms of competencies, the creation of models of different levels of competences, the introduction of innovative psychological and pedagogical technologies into the educational process, as well as teaching aids for their use, is shown. The sources of self-assessment formation are indicated. The generalized conclusion of scientists is given, the essence of which is that the success, as well as the failure of a student of a technical institution of higher education is the result of high or low self-assessment. According to the results of the research, the urgency of the problem of forming an adequate self-assessment and increasing students' selfconfidence in the process of studying at TIHE is emphasized. The mechanisms of their activation are revealed, namely, self-knowledge, self-control, self-regulation and selfprogramming. Special attention is paid to the role of innovative technologies: creating situations of success in the learning process and training. The key components of the method of behaviour rehearsal are considered, which are modelling, instruction and reinforcement.Документ Elomia Chatbot: the Effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence in the Fight for Mental Health(2021) Romanovskyi, O. G.; Pidbutska, N. V.; Knysh, A. Ye.The article is presenting results of controlled study of effectiveness of Elomia chatbot in educing tendency to depression, anxiety and negative emotional effects. Elomia was developed using artificial intelligence technologies. In the process of developing a chatbot following technologies were used: RoBERTa(NER) for identification names and locations; COSMIC for identification of human emotions; DIALOGPT for answers generation; DistilBERT (SQuAD) for pointing the most relevant information in the script; GECToR for spelling check. Elomia is able to identify the main psychological problems of the client and offer him the most suitable support option using first aid techniques and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. To check the effectiveness of the chatbot it was conducted a study that included three stages: 1) the formation of experimental and control samples; 2) baseline testing; 3) final testing. The study used psychological research methods: 1) Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) to diagnose a tendency to depression; 2) General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) to diagnose a tendency to generalized anxiety disorder; 3) Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) to diagnose of prevailing (positive / negative) emotional affects. 412 volunteers (202 women, 210 men, ages 19 to 23 years old) who identified their tendency to depression, anxiety and low mood were selected in students social networks groups of Kharkiv region as participants of research. It was found that regular usage of Elomia contributes to a significant reduction in the high tendency to depression (up to 28%), anxiety (up to 31%), and negative affects (up to 15%).Документ Emotional leadership and ways of its formation in National Technical University "Kharkiv polytechnic institute"(Національний авіаційний університет, 2015) Romanovskyi, O. The experience of National technical university "Kharkiv polytechnic institute" in unleashing the potential of emotional leadership of students of engineering and humanitarian branches through stimulation of the development of emotional intelligence are given. It is shown that raising of the level of emotional intelligence of students in higher technical institutions are provided by such factors as: synergy effect through the involvement of specialists of various scientific fields; involving students in research and creative projects; development of moral character of future specialists; formation of students focus on success. Results of research aimed at leadership potential disclosure through the development of emotional intelligence of students of technical universities are shown. In scientific works readiness for activity is defined as a wholesome psychologic phenomenon integrating a personality’s knowledge and skills concerning their performance of a certain kind of activity. There has been shown the necessity in unity of professional and personality development of students in the course of their learning at higher education establishments. There have been viewed pedagogic conditions necessary for a student’s dynamic movement from learning to professional activity, transformation of the first one into the second with the corresponding change in needs, motives, aims, actions, means, the object, and the results. For this in the process of learning there should be quite consistently modelled the content specialists’ professional activity from the perspectives of its subject-and-technological (subject context) and social components (social context). Ye.; Vorobieva, YevheniiaThe paper deals with the problem of identifying leaders on the basis of social media hashtags. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the growing interest of employers in employees with developed leadership qualities and the need for clear and accurate detection of leadership abilities without recourse to in-depth psychodiagnostic testing. In this connection, the analysis of the content of social networks of seekers can be a reliable way to identify potential leaders. With a view to studying the specifics of the use of social media hashtags, a group of 214 students (average age 21.4 ± 1.2) studying in various professional fields (technical, humanities, social sciences) was selected, including 109 women and 105 men. The Transformational Leadership Questionnaire was used to study the level of leadership development. To study the attitude to different types of hashtags, we’ve developed a questionnaire aimed at evaluating different types of hashtags. Descriptive statistics and Ttest methods were used to process the study data. The study has found that leaders prefer mixed hashtags, using verbs and calls to action. Not leaders prefer short hashtags with nouns and expressions of their own feelings. The features of the hashtags used by leaders on social media identified in the study can be used in modern professional selection for a prompt and comprehensive assessment of job seekers.Документ Leadership in teaching activities(2023) Romanovskyi, O. G.The objective of the article is to study the peculiarities of students’ perception of teaching style and to determine the correlation between such perception and motivation of students’ learning. The group of respondents included 254 future social and 156 technical specialists (a total of 410 students), methods of research were questioning and testing; Pearson correlation coefficient was used for statistical analysis. Students perceived the democratic teaching style as the most positive, and its use is associated with educational and cognitive motives. Authoritarian and laissez faire styles are seen as undesirable. The first is related to the motives of avoidance, and the second has feedback from professional motives of students.
