Parallel and distributed calculations. Part 1
(National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", 2024) Chernykh, Olena Petrivna; Chelak, Viktor Volodymyrovych; Limarenko, Viacheslav Volodymyrovych
The laboratory course includes 8 laboratory works, among which the first one introduces students to the procedure of installing the MS-MPI environment on the machines of the computer room with the task of all the necessary configuration parameters. The works (from the second to the ninth inclusive) after some refinement of the texts of known parallel computational problems acquaint students with the methodology of parallel programs building, the computing environment configuring, interpretation and study of the results of the parallel program on a set of source data and laboratory performance report. Designed for students of computer science specialities.

Methodical instructions for laboratory works in the "Embedded systems" academic discipline
(National technical university "Kharkiv polytechnic institute", 2024) Lipchanskyi, Maksym Valentynovych; Skorodielov, Volodymyr Vasyliovych; Lipchanska, Oksana Valentinivna
The methodical instructions contain a technique for performing laboratory works, the purpose of which is to familiarize with the principles of microcontrollers and to develop practical skills for their engineering design and debugging. The technique is designed for both the use of universal construction stands with a set of discrete elements, microcircuits, and replaceable modules, and for the use of computer modeling packages. The following provisions should be followed when carrying out laboratory work: 1) laboratory work is carried out frontally in the whole group, the amount of tasks is determined by the lecturer; 2) independent preparation for each laboratory work is required, including the study of theoretical material and the implementation of the necessary project work; 3) during the laboratory work, students must complete an individual task and provide the teacher with all developed programs and research results; 4) a report is required for each laboratory work. The methodical instructions were developed at the Department of Computer Engineering and Programming and can be used for training of certified specialists in the major "Computer Engineering".

    Computer architecture
    (Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2024) Povoroznyuk, A. I.; Povoroznyuk, O. A.; Filatova, G. E.
Methodological instructions are intended for the implementation and design of a course project in the educational discipline "Computer Architecture". The purpose and tasks of the course project are the use of theoretical knowledge acquired by students during the study of the course to obtain practical skills in the creation of effective software, using the capabilities of controlling computer modules at the level of input/output control ports, as well as independent solution of a specific professional problem in the specified direction Since this course project is carried out by students of NTU "KhPI" bachelor's degree 123 "Computer engineering" in the 3rd semester, and is the first course project in the curriculum, the "Methodical instructions" also contain information on the basic requirements for the design of text documents, and provides a holistic view of the subject matter, the order of execution and scope of work, the content of the constituent parts of the documents of the course project on the educational discipline "Computer Architecture". Intended for full-time and part-time students of speciality 123 "Computer Engineering", it can also be useful for both beginners and experienced programmers in creating effective software.

Information analysis method about current situations in ACS of special operations
(Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут", 2020) Khmelevskiy, S.; Pavlenko, M.; Petrov, O.
The relevance of improvement and difficulty of establishing ERP systems and methods of their development is considered. The features of the development of special mathematical and software implements strategy ERP system shows effective ways formalized description of the classes of recognizable situations in the form of membership functions corresponding regions of the feature space. In the course of developing automated ERP systems, it is necessary to apply direct methods for characterization of classes of recognizable situations. As shown by the analysis of typical SR tasks solved in ERP systems, in practice a feature space can contain many hundreds and even thousands of attributes. In this case, the number of examples of situations belonging to a particular class, as a rule, is limited to tens of units. Therefore, for classical learning algorithms, the required length of a training sequence for SR tasks of practical importance, as a rule, many times exceeds the disposable number of examples of environment. The source of information necessary for the construction of such a priori descriptions can be experts who can solve SR tasks in a non-automated way in conditions of psychological comfort.
