Від 26 листопада 2021 року кафедра має назву – "Комп’ютерна інженерія та програмування"; попередні назви – “Обчислювальна техніка та програмування”, “Електронні обчислювальні машини”, первісна назва – кафедра “Математичні та лічильно-вирішальні прилади та пристрої”.

Кафедра “Математичні та лічильно-вирішальні прилади та пристрої” заснована 1 вересня 1961 року. Організатором та її першим завідувачем був професор Віктор Георгійович Васильєв.

Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту комп'ютерних наук та інформаційних технологій Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут". Перший випуск – 24 інженери, підготовлених кафедрою, відбувся в 1964 році. З тих пір кафедрою підготовлено понад 4 тисячі фахівців, зокрема близько 500 для 50 країн світу.

У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 11 докторів технічних наук, 21 кандидат технічних наук, 1 – економічних, 1 – фізико-математичних, 1 – педагогічних, 1 доктор філософії; 9 співробітників мають звання професора, 14 – доцента, 2 – старшого наукового співробітника.

    Modeling of observation in the mountain terrain depending on number of supervisory systems

    The various types of electron-optical supervisory systems (SCS) have been used in the border stations of border zones in the Armed Forces of many countries. The mission of these SCS is to supervise the possible activities of smugglers, the illegal movement of enemy troops, the technics and weapon systems, the frontier intruders. In the paper, there has been offered a method which, on the basis of the developed mathematical model and Geography Information System technology, allows modeling of observation in mountain terrain depending on the number and location of SCS. The developed software module allows: 1) to generate the investigated terrain based on Digital Terrain Elevation Data file, 2) to input the possible observation points and the controlled zone via an interface,3) to simulate and visualize the observed areas for both single and group observation devices located in the possible observation points. The developed method had been applied toone of the selected terrains of the Azerbaijan Republic and demonstrated efficiency of the offered method. Based on the developed model and GIStechnology the visual modeling in mountain terrain depending on a number and a location of the SCS has been carried out.

    Conclusion algorithm based on the reconnaissance data processing results

    As it is known, the investigation of enemy forces, time of the outbreak of hostilities, direction and the kind of activities are the tasks of military reconnaissance. For the purpose of investigation of the directions and fields of gathering of the reconnaissance information, revealing an importance of enemy activities the reconnaissance indications are determined. The reconnaissance indications are determined in accordance with tactical activities (assault, counter-offensive, defence, etc.). The formation of a base of the reconnaissance indications is offered for application these indications in the future. In the paper, the method of conclusion in accodance with reconnaissance indicators has been considered. The method of construction of the algorithms conclusion based on the results recipience of reconnaissance data processing has been offered for solution of the reconnaissance tasks.

    Computer modelling of a very heat resistant Hf6C3N2 for cover ofhypersonic flight vehicles

    The creation of a very heat resistant cover for returnable orbiters and for hypersonic flying aircrafts is an actual problem in modern science and technics.Therefore, computer modelling and investigations molecular structure of various multicomponent compounds are important tasks. In the paper, based on the computer model the molecular structure and a very heat resistant of carbonitride hafnium Hf6C3N2 have been investigated by using of the semiempirical quantum mechanical method PM3. Some mechanical, electrical, optical and thermodynamic parameters of this material have been researched. Debye temperature and melting temperaturehave been calculated. The found theoretical value of melting temperature of carbonitride hafnium Hf6C3N2 is approximated to obtained experimental results. The block diagram of carried out investigations has been presented. The results of investigations indicate that these materials can be applied as a very heat resistant cover for hypersonic flight vehicles and returnable orbiter.

    Principles of using the mathematical models of combat activities and means of destructions during operational preparation of the troops

    Development of information and computer technology requires a qualitatively new approach to the application of mathematical modeling of combat activities and activities of guns damage in planning proccesses. The article describes the history of mathematical models of combat activities and combat means of destructions, and their development paths of the use of troops in process of preparation of the operational activities. The possibilities of using mathematical models of operations (combat and fire destruction) in process of the preparation and conduct of operational preparations were considered. The urgency of the issue in this case is determined by the increased intensity of researches and supply of armed forces with information technology carried out in different countries.The analysis shows that it is necessary to use mathematical programming to predict the operations by comander and command and control staff during operational preparation.

    Development of field signal centers based on the modern telecommunication technologies

    Nowadays, one of the main directions of the military management system development is the improvement and wide automation of field communication networks of the military authorities. Therefore, states continue to advance their tactical networks to counter these emerging threats, enable new forms of maneuver and maintain integration with military Information Technology services available stateside-all while taking advantage of rapid innovation from the commercial IT industry. Moreover, when analyzing electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic means, it is important to know the factors affecting on modules interaction in network. Radio-electronic means is the ability to work without any disturbance under the influence of coincident electromagnetic interferences, without interfering with the radio-electronic means used by the others radio-electronic sets. In this paper, the role of modern telecommunication technologies in development of field signal centers has been shown, and a military field signal center have been proposed to set up in the form of modules.

    Modelling of the rationally deployment of observing systems

    The various types of electron-optical supervisory control systems (SCS) have been used in Armed Forces of many advanced countries. The mission of these SCS is to supervise day and night enemy troops, technics and weapon systems, frontier intruders with high precision a great and middle distance. The SCS optimal deployment in mountainous terrain makes possibility to use rationally SCS number, because SCS has very much costs. Using the rationally SCS number we can reduce a necessity of the specialist number. Also, it accelerates comander’s correct decision making. The optimal deployment of SCS on a terrain is one of important task of military reconnaissance. The specific character of such task is that the necessary for continuing surveillance and control military objects can be located in specific zones of terrain (for examples, in canyons, along of river etc.). Accessible places of SCS set are situated on some distance from these zones. The number of SCS is limited; therefore, it is impossible to distribute theirs on the all set points. It is necessary to select such SCS set points that the zone observation range would be the largest. In present paper the mathematical model of the rationally deployment of technical observing systems in mountainous terrain has been developed and offered. The determination method of visibility level between selected terrain points has been developed. The assesment criterion of rationally deployment and the algorithm of fast solution have been offered.
