Від 26 листопада 2021 року кафедра має назву – "Комп’ютерна інженерія та програмування"; попередні назви – “Обчислювальна техніка та програмування”, “Електронні обчислювальні машини”, первісна назва – кафедра “Математичні та лічильно-вирішальні прилади та пристрої”.

Кафедра “Математичні та лічильно-вирішальні прилади та пристрої” заснована 1 вересня 1961 року. Організатором та її першим завідувачем був професор Віктор Георгійович Васильєв.

Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту комп'ютерних наук та інформаційних технологій Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут". Перший випуск – 24 інженери, підготовлених кафедрою, відбувся в 1964 році. З тих пір кафедрою підготовлено понад 4 тисячі фахівців, зокрема близько 500 для 50 країн світу.

У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 11 докторів технічних наук, 21 кандидат технічних наук, 1 – економічних, 1 – фізико-математичних, 1 – педагогічних, 1 доктор філософії; 9 співробітників мають звання професора, 14 – доцента, 2 – старшого наукового співробітника.

    Implementation information technology of competency assessment method of professional activity of the educational system employee

    Consistent and gradual spread in the West of the concept of "competence" in the practice of postgraduate education, professional development and retraining of professional personnel has led to the emergence in the education system of the concept of the so-called competency approach. Based on this concept, the International Labor Association introduces the concept of "key competencies", which include subject and social components, in the qualification requirements for professionals. The accumulated experience of implementing the competency approach in the education system has shown the presence of a number of problems due to the complexity of assessing the process and results of professional activities of educators. This problem has caused a flow of publications, varying in type, volume and content, from reputable and titular scholars to primary school teachers, the number of links to which there are millions on the Internet. The presence of many publications encourages the search for ways to solve the problem using the methods of qualimetry and information technology. In the article the information technology of the decision of problems of an assessment of professional activity of the educational system employee based on the competency approach is considered and offered for practical application. The essence of the method: a group of experts makes an information model (professiograms) of the educational system’ employee – lists (thesaurus and alphabetical index) of the evaluated features – the range of powers (competencies in the sense of professional capacity), as well as the set of knowledge, skills and personal characteristics (competencies in the sense of expertise); each assessment object the experts compare for each of the features and assign a point on a fourpoint scale of the order that characterizes the degree of compliance of the assessment object to a particular feature; the obtained sets of assessments (personograms) are processed accordingly; the processing result (ranked list) is submitted to the decision maker. As an example of application of the method, the procedure of assessment the professional activity of a group of beginning teachers of a higher education institution is considered.

    Multifunctional antenna device for protection of radio communication channels of units of law enforcement forces

    Safe conduct of mass events requires from law enforcement forces to protect the units’ radio communication channels, detection and suppression of counterparty control radio channel. Italso requires finding and destroying single-use interference transmitters, the presence of which is a manifestation of the aggressive intentions of the crowd. This requires means using antennas with directional properties, frequency ranges of which are determined by the established standard and mass radio communications. In general, the antenna parameters of radio systems, radio intelligence, radio monitoring, suppression are different requirements. Therefore, it is difficult to implement a universal antenna for many applications and conditions. Ideal for operating an antenna can be considered one that could predictably change the properties when adding (replacing) elements (modules), the parameters of which are known and consistent with the basic (basic) design. But serial antenna of radio electronic means is finished devices and are not always amenable to improvement. Sothe article discusses the possibility of using improvised antennas that have adequate models, as confirmed by numerous experiments, with the main parameters whose values can be purposefully changed: frequency range, width and shape of the directionality chart, its reflector properties, etc. Anaddition, software for such antennas is publicly available. Considering the functional requirements, we have analyzed the designs of antennae "Radiator over a cylindrical surface", angular antennas and antennas "Radiator over a plane", characteristics of which at the same sizes are approximately the same and are calculated by the same formulas. The possibilities of angular antennas of the "open-book" type with different angles between reflectors have been investigated. To do this, analytical simulations of technical solutionssuitable for use in radio communications of units oflaw enforcement forces were conducted. The efficiency of the proposed constructs was checked and their characteristics were determined. Thus, the proposed technical solutions for angular antenna devicesare able to protect the radio communication channels of law enforcement units during mass events.
