Від 26 листопада 2021 року кафедра має назву – "Комп’ютерна інженерія та програмування"; попередні назви – “Обчислювальна техніка та програмування”, “Електронні обчислювальні машини”, первісна назва – кафедра “Математичні та лічильно-вирішальні прилади та пристрої”.

Кафедра “Математичні та лічильно-вирішальні прилади та пристрої” заснована 1 вересня 1961 року. Організатором та її першим завідувачем був професор Віктор Георгійович Васильєв.

Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту комп'ютерних наук та інформаційних технологій Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут". Перший випуск – 24 інженери, підготовлених кафедрою, відбувся в 1964 році. З тих пір кафедрою підготовлено понад 4 тисячі фахівців, зокрема близько 500 для 50 країн світу.

У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 11 докторів технічних наук, 21 кандидат технічних наук, 1 – економічних, 1 – фізико-математичних, 1 – педагогічних, 1 доктор філософії; 9 співробітників мають звання професора, 14 – доцента, 2 – старшого наукового співробітника.

    Implementation information technology of competency assessment method of professional activity of the educational system employee

    Consistent and gradual spread in the West of the concept of "competence" in the practice of postgraduate education, professional development and retraining of professional personnel has led to the emergence in the education system of the concept of the so-called competency approach. Based on this concept, the International Labor Association introduces the concept of "key competencies", which include subject and social components, in the qualification requirements for professionals. The accumulated experience of implementing the competency approach in the education system has shown the presence of a number of problems due to the complexity of assessing the process and results of professional activities of educators. This problem has caused a flow of publications, varying in type, volume and content, from reputable and titular scholars to primary school teachers, the number of links to which there are millions on the Internet. The presence of many publications encourages the search for ways to solve the problem using the methods of qualimetry and information technology. In the article the information technology of the decision of problems of an assessment of professional activity of the educational system employee based on the competency approach is considered and offered for practical application. The essence of the method: a group of experts makes an information model (professiograms) of the educational system’ employee – lists (thesaurus and alphabetical index) of the evaluated features – the range of powers (competencies in the sense of professional capacity), as well as the set of knowledge, skills and personal characteristics (competencies in the sense of expertise); each assessment object the experts compare for each of the features and assign a point on a fourpoint scale of the order that characterizes the degree of compliance of the assessment object to a particular feature; the obtained sets of assessments (personograms) are processed accordingly; the processing result (ranked list) is submitted to the decision maker. As an example of application of the method, the procedure of assessment the professional activity of a group of beginning teachers of a higher education institution is considered.

    The concept of information security in the IoT system

    The subject of the study are the processes of securing information in wireless control and communication channels of the Internet of Things (IoT) system. The goalis to develop the concept of broadband Internet access and the implementation of key security competencies in the implementation of IoT projects. The taskis to ensure stable and secure operation of the IoT system. The modelis based on the reference model DigComp 2.0, created within the framework of a system of digital competence of citizens. More over, the main area of competence of this model is security. The methodused: methods of analytical, simulation modeling and temporal position-pulse coding. The following results are obtained: A security concept has been developed in the wireless control and communication channels of the IoT system. It is shown,that to obtain high noise immunity of control and communication channels and to protect information from interception, wireless ultra-wideband communication technology should be used, which allows for large volumes and speeds of information transfer. The possibility of joint interference-free operation in the same frequency range of both traditional narrow-band communication systems and systems using ultra-wideband signals is substantiated. A technical solution for the design of an ultra-wideband receiving -transmitting antenna system is proposed. Conclusions.The use of channels with an ultra-wide frequency band allows for an increase in the number of control and communication channels of the IoT system. Predistribution between the channels of orthogonal codes implements the process of control and communication without interception of information and mutual interference. Moreover, the application of the method of temporal position-pulse coding prevents inter symbol distortions of ultrashort pulsescoding. It also reduces the level of distortion of information signals caused by its multipath propagation, which guarantees the security of information in the IoT system.

    Educational programs and professional standards in the IT field as factors of development of IT education

    The subject matter of the article is the processes of synthesis of the information and telecommunication network (ITN) for solving applied problems of safety-critical systems (SCS). The goalis to develop a mathematical model for the optimal distribution of applied tasks of safety-critical systems over the ITN nodes. The tasks to be solved are: to formalize the procedure of distribution of applied tasks and SCS software over the ITN nodes; to develop a mathematical model of optimal distribution in order to minimize the cost of network resources; to select an effective algorithm for solving it. The methods used are: alternative-graph approach, mathematical optimization models, methods for solving nonlinear integer programming problems with Boolean variables. The following results were obtained: the task of selecting the ITN optimal structure was formulated according to the alternative-graph model of information processing; in addition to structural characteristics, the requirements for the parameters necessary for performing applied tasks were taken into account while constructing a mathematical model; when minimizing the cost of a computing resource, constraints related to the capabilities for financing the development and operation of the network are taken into account; the costs for organizing additional connections among the network nodes are considered as well. The scientific novelty of the results obtained is as follows: 1) the optimization model of distributing applied tasks over the nodes of the computer network was improved by defining the objective function in order to minimize the costs of both computational and data transmission and the constraints caused by the requirements for the technical and information structure of the network; 2) methods for solving the problems of optimizing the ITN structure on the basis of models of nonlinear Boolean programming by transforming the initial task into a linear form and applying the recession vector method was further developed, which makes obtaining a quasi-optimal solution of the problem in the context of large dimension possible.
