Кафедра "Право" створена в 1998 році задля розширення та поглиблення правових знань серед студентської молоді. Це був перший досвід створення правової кафедри у технічному закладі вищому освіти. Раніше правові дисципліни викладалися на кафедрі "Соціологія та право".
Першою завідувачкою кафедри "Право" стала Перевалова Людмила Вікторівна, кандидат філософських наук, на той час доцент.
Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту соціально-гуманітарних технологій Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут".
У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють 5 кандидатів юридичних, філософських, педагогічних та економічних наук; 5 співробітників мають звання доцента.

A.Significant transformations in economic relations and increased competition have posed enterprises with extremely complex tasks in the field of corporate governance. Mainly it concerns the systems of corporate governance, in which the principles of vertical organization are losing relevance, and the effectiveness of management largely depends on the balance of interests of participants (stakeholders) who can actively influence the production and commercial policy of the enterprise to distribute its resources in their favor. The study aims to develop proposals to ensure the effective interaction of the enterprise with stakeholders, based on establishing an optimal balance of material (value) interests, allowing achieving a reduction of risks that threaten the development of the enterprise. Thus, it was proposed to determine the total value of the commercial results of the enterprise, taking into account the real contribution, which is provided by the relations with one or another stakeholder. A similar approach is implemented to determine the share of the value of the corresponding stakeholder, which is ensured by its relationship with this enterprise. In addition to the value of the enterprise itself, the proposed models explicitly determine the value benefits of stakeholders and disclose a list of the main controlling factors: the volumes of resources supplied and consumed by the parties, their relative values, the structure of resource flows, etc. As an example, using the developed recommendations, the circle of the most influential stakeholders of the Ukrainian enterprise – PJSC KhTP – was studied. The approaches of scientists to determining the role of competition in strategic management are analyzed. The importance of market competition in the process of developing a strategy is revealed. The concept of enterprise competitive strategy has been clarified. The necessity of developing a classification of competitive strategies according to the criterion of the depth of strategic transformations is substantiated. The developed classification demonstrates the necessary degree of radicalization of strategic changes. The content of the proposed competitive strategies is disclosed, the conditions for their use are specified. As a result of the analysis of the considered approaches to the development of strategies of foreign and domestic strategic management theorists, it was revealed that most of them focus on the process of development and implementation of the strategy, and a minority on the content of the strategy. M.The article gives a scientific analysis of the term «compliance» is used to denote the continuous efforts of the organization to comply with all applicable domestic and foreign laws, regulations and rules applicable to its activities, including its own internal corporate policies and procedures. For many years compliance was of great significance only in industries that have traditionally heavily regulated, such as healthcare and financial services. However, after the entry into force of the anti-corruption legislation in Ukraine in all industries have been regulated tightly enough, and for each legal entity (or unit) there was a need for tight monitoring of compliance with industrial enterprises of the countless existing laws, rules and regulations. M.In the article the author proves that the violation of the exclusive rights implies the existence of two types of damages: actual damages and lost profits. Offered the actual damage be divided into two types of costs: a) past costs that the owner incurred on the creation and use of the object of the exclusive right; b) future costs that will be needed by the owner to restore the violated rights. The second type of cost that is included by the author in real damage, not always taken into account when carrying out the corresponding calculations, which, in the author's opinion, incorrectly. Another issue is that the need for such expenditures and their estimated size should be confirmed by reasonable calculation, evidence which can be presented estimates (cost estimate) of the costs to eliminate the consequences of the violation of exclusive rights. Under loss of profits refers to the lost revenue that the owner would receive under usual conditions of civil turnover of intellectual property, if his right had not been violated. If the person who violated the law, received as a result of this income, the person whose right has been violated, should demand compensation in the amount of not less than such income. The author of a study of existing methods of determining damages from patent infringement. All existing methods are classified into separate groups, each of which has its own specific features using. The proposed methodological approaches to determine the amount of economic damages and lost profits, to the greatest extent can be use in the production of counterfeit products. Developed proposals for the use of the proposed recommendations of the machine-building enterprises.
