The composition of solid oil deposits, which are formed during the extraction, transportation and storage of oil, was studied. For samples of solid oil deposits and ozokerite, an analysis of the fractional composition was carried out and the group hydrocarbon composition of the selected fractions was investigated. The similarity of the hydrocarbon composition of solid oil deposits and ozokerite is shown.
