Abstract

The textbook studies the basic statements of the theory of forecasting the socioeconomic processes. General characteristics of methods and models of socioeconomic forecasting is given. A brief description of the organization of the use of software tools for solving the problems of forecasting is provided. The examples of solving the tasks using the application software package STATISTICA are considered. Recommended for students and postgraduate students who perform researches related to the problem of forecasting and for other categories of readers who are interested in issues of forecasting.
