Abstract

Developed and researched method of finding the break points and the ε -break of first-order of bilinear function of two variables by means approached its discontinuous interpolation or the approximation bilinear splines. Theorems on the required number of iterations of the proposed method to achieve the required accuracy. We introduce the concept the ε -continuity of a function of two variables. On this basis, we developed an algorithm for the detection of discontinuities of the first kind bilinear function of two variables, using a discontinuous approximation bilinear splines. An example confirming the theoretical calculations. Prospects for further research are also discussed.
