Анотація
The article deals with the issue oftoponymy formation of the United States of America. The work focuses ontoponyms in the language and culture of the United States, a special place is given to their importance, to the process of formation and development of the toponymic system. The main feature of America toponymsis the fact that it has the words borrowed from the Indian languages and some European languages (English, Spanish, French, Dutch, German and others).
