Abstract

It is established that in the casing of the apparatus, pressure of the weakest element is the flat bottom, therefore it is necessary to increase its thickness in 3-5 times in comparison with the wall thickness. The proposed design method is equally stressed nodes of cylindrical tanks comprising a flat circular plate of variable thickness, the shape of the diametrical sections which is modeled by the equation of Gauss. The method is tested in real design with a positive technical and economic effect.
