Shaping linguistic students' abilities in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in the context of new European educational Paradigm

Abstract

The article explores the importance of forming linguistic students’ abilities for shaping the personality of students in the context of the new European educational paradigm. Some approaches to teaching foreign languages, including critical thinking, cultural diversity, and global perspective, aimed at preparing students for life in a global society are considered.
