Розвиток наукової електротехнічної школи професора П. П. Копняєва в другій половині XX століття (до 150-річчя від дня народження вченого)

Abstract

In the article, the activity of Professor P. P. Kopnyaev concerning the creation of scientific and technical school of electrotechnical field in Ukraine is investigated. The role of scientist in the formation of higher electrotechnical education is revealed. The peculiarities of the main areas of electrotechnical science in Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute and other scientific and educational institutions in the second half of the 20th century are highlighted. It is found that the basic and applied researches of electrical engineers of higher electrotechnical school in Ukraine have become a true national treasure of the most promising level and worthy contribution to the world science. It was concluded that the scientific researches in electromechanical field, high voltage engineering, electric power, and electrical measurements were focused on the searching for new technologies and brought the radical changes in the production as a whole.
