Interdisciplinary approach to managing the company's operational activities using project management techniques

Abstract

The paper explores the potential of applying project management tools to improve operational activities in enterprises that traditionally do not rely on project-based approaches. It outlines the differences between project and operational management and demonstrates that selected methods, such as critical path analysis, network diagrams, Kanban, Gantt charts, and agile techniques, can be effectively adapted to cyclical and repetitive processes. The study highlights the role of modern information technologies, including project management software and artificial intelligence tools, in automating planning, analysis, and process optimization. It is concluded that the interdisciplinary use of project management methods can enhance efficiency, flexibility, and competitiveness of industrial enterprises, opening new opportunities for operational improvement.

У роботі досліджено можливості використання інструментів проєктного менеджменту для підвищення ефективності операційної діяльності підприємств, що не застосовують проєктний підхід у традиційному вигляді. Визначено відмінності між проєктним та операційним менеджментом і показано, що певні методи, зокрема аналіз критичного шляху, мережеві графіки, Kanban, діаграми Ґанта та agile-підходи, можуть бути ефективно адаптовані до циклічних і повторюваних процесів. Наголошено на важливості інтеграції сучасних інформаційних технологій, у тому числі програмного забезпечення для управління проєктами та інструментів штучного інтелекту, для автоматизації планування, аналізу та оптимізації операцій. Зроблено висновок, що міждисциплінарне використання інструментів проєктного менеджменту сприяє підвищенню продуктивності, гнучкості та конкурентоспроможності промислових підприємств.
