Аналіз зовнішньоекономічної діяльності як складової механізму управління конкурентоспроможністю торговельних підприємств

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано сучасний стан зовнішньоекономічної діяльності торговельних підприємств України у розрізі їх конкурентоспроможності на світовому ринку товарів та послуг. Визначено, що основою будь-якої конкурентної зовнішньоекономічної діяльності торговельних підприємств є успішне здійснення імпортно-експортних операцій суб’єктами торгівлі, яке залежить від постійного оцінювання їх власних можливостей та регулярного розроблення заходів щодо підвищення конкурентоспроможності. У ході дослідження проведено аналіз основних показників конкурентоспроможності зовнішньоекономічної діяльності торговельних підприємств України; розглянуто обсяги імпорту та експорту товарів і послуг; визначено причини, що гальмують розвиток зовнішньоекономічної діяльності України; виявлено перспективи, які стимулюють експортні процеси та знижують рівень імпортної залежності України; сформовано механізм управління конкурентоспроможністю торговельних підприємств, які здійснюють зовнішньоекономічну діяльність.The article analyzes the current state of foreign economic activity of trade enterprises of Ukraine in terms of their competitiveness in the world market of goods and services. It has been determined that the basis of any competitive foreign economic activity of trade enterprises is the successful implementation of import and export operations by trade entities, which depends on a constant assessment of their own capabilities and the regular development of measures to increase competitiveness. In the course of this study, the analysis of the main indicators of the competitiveness of foreign economic activity of trade enterprises of Ukraine was carried out; considered the volumes of import and export of goods and services; determined the reasons that hinder the development of foreign economic activity of Ukraine; identified prospects that will help to stimulate export processes and to reduce the level of import dependence in Ukraine; a mechanism for managing the competitiveness of trade enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity has been formed. In this study, an analytical review of Ukraine’s foreign trade competitiveness was carried out in the context of studying the following indicators of foreign trade: the volume of exports of goods and services; the volume of imports of goods and services; foreign trade turnover; foreign trade balance; export coverage ratios for imports of goods and services; share in total exports of a specific country or product group; share in total imports of a specific country or product group. As a result, the article identifies the main reasons for the extensive development of foreign trade processes in Ukraine, ranging from the lack of sufficient capital investments for the production of export-oriented volumes of goods and services and ending with the rejection of Ukrainian products on the world market. The main direction of stimulating export production by government and reducing the level of import dependence of Ukraine in order to improve competitiveness of trade enterprises has been determined. As a result, it was concluded that it is necessary to design a mechanism for managing the competitiveness of trade enterprises.
