| dc.description.abstract | This study focuses on identifying a new, effective waterproofing material with selective action for repairing the isolation to prevent reservoir water from entering into operational oil, gas, and gas condensate wells. The study examines the process (waterproofing) properties of the polymeric organic silicon material AKOR-B100 under conditions that simulate reservoir environments (temperature, pressure). The polymeric organic silicone material AKOR-B100 is expected to meet several requirements: reliable sealing of inflow channels where reservoir water enters productive oil, gas, and gas-condensate reservoirs, a broad temperature range for application, cost-effectiveness and environmental safety. The research demonstrates that the polymeric organic silicone material AKOR-B100 exhibits selective action in environments containing oil and water. Specifically, AKOR-B100 dissolves in oil but forms a gel-like structure in water, which solidifies within 1.3 to 5.0 hours, depending on the temperature. The ability of the gel created by AKOR-B100 to resist reakthrough pressure in porous rock samples varies based on the AKOR-B100-to-water ratio and the temperature conditions of polymerisation. The breakthrough pressure for the gelatinous barrier of porous rock samples under different conditions was found to range from 1.01 to 2.90 MPa. Additionally, the permeability recovery coefficient of porous rock sealed with AKOR-B100 after gelatinous barrier is breached by pressure varies between 1.0% and 4.0%, indicating the material’s waterproofing quality. | |
