Economic assessment of the environmental impact of transport exhausts

Abstract

The report examines the economic assessment of the environmental impact caused by transport exhaust emissions. It highlights the methodological approaches to quantifying external costs associated with air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and public health consequences. Special attention is given to integrating cost–benefit analysis, environmental accounting, and sustainable transport indicators into the evaluation framework. The study emphasizes the importance of incorporating ecological externalities into economic decision-making to support the transition toward cleaner and more efficient transport systems.
