dc.description.abstract | The objective of the «Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence» discipline is to study the basics of the theory of fuzzy sets and systems, fuzzy inference algorithms, the theory of soft, evolutionary and genetic computing in order to apply this knowledge to the development of hardware and software for the expedient operation of technical and information systems, in a wide variety of possible situations and the lack of a detailed and unambiguous description of the external environment. The goal of this edition is to provide recommendations for students to perform a calculation task on the topic “Design of Fuzzy Controllers” in the “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence” academic discipline. Completion of the calculation task will allow students to better master the knowledge of fuzzy controller design methods, develop practical skills in controlling complex objects or dynamic processes and check their ability to solve practical problems independently. It is advisable to perform the calculation task after listening to the relevant part of the lecture course, which reveals the issues presented in the methodological instructions in more depth. And also after students have acquired knowledge of methods of building fuzzy controllers using Fuzzy Logic tools and Simulink modeling blocks of the MATLAB package. For a more in-depth study of the topic, this methodological guide provides references. In case of any unclear questions, students are advised to consult the teacher in order to obtain all the necessary explanations regarding the organization of the calculation task, completion of the task and search for additional literature sources. The teacher provides additional explanations and individual consultations to improve students' competence and expand the range of their knowledge in this discipline. | |
