| dc.description.abstract | The subject of the discipline "Automatic design engineering" is the consideration of the tasks of computer-aided design and construction of computing systems and debugging their interaction. The most effective way to study the performance of a complex computing device is its modeling. Today, the main methods of automated research of the performance of computing devices are: prototyping; physical, analytical and mathematical modeling. The computer modeling method involves using a software model of the system being designed as an object for debugging. This method is universal in the sense that the model can be obtained for a computing system of any structure and architecture. Therefore, the most widely used design method is mathematical modeling. Computer-aided design includes solving calculation, analysis, optimization and synthesis problems. Laboratory work allows students to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained in the academic discipline. When conducting laboratory work, the following provisions should be followed: 1) each laboratory work requires independent preparation, which includes studying theoretical material and performing the necessary preparatory work, theoretical analysis of given schemes, construction of state tables and timing diagrams; 2) during the performance of laboratory work, students must collect the given scheme in the modeling program and conduct its research; 3) a report is compiled for each laboratory work, which includes: the topic and purpose of the work, an individual task, research results with explanations, conclusions on all experiments. | |
