This research explores the hurdles faced by organizations in successfully adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically emphasizing psychological, organizational, and ethical challenges. The objective is to devise strategies to mitigate resistance, foster trust, and enable smooth AI integration into business operations. Methodology. A qualitative methodology was adopted, incorporating a thorough review of academic literature alongside real-world case studies to uncover the underlying causes of resistance to AI adoption. The study explores psychological apprehensions, organizational constraints, and ethical dilemmas, offering strategic frameworks and practical solutions to tackle these issues. Findings. Resistance to AI often arises from psychological fears, such as job displacement and mistrust of AI systems, while organizational challenges typically involve conflicting priorities and deeply ingrained cultural practices. Ethical issues, including concerns about algorithmic bias, accountability, and data privacy, further complicate AI adoption efforts. The research recommends strategies such as increasing transparency, aligning AI initiatives with organizational goals, establishing strong governance protocols, and addressing ethical concerns to enhance adoption success. Practical Applications. The study provides actionable insights for business leaders and policymakers, including fostering open dialogues, investing in workforce upskilling, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards. These steps are crucial in building trust and securing broader support from stakeholders. Original Contribution. This research introduces an innovative framework that integrates psychological, organizational, and ethical perspectives to address resistance to AI adoption. By merging theoretical insights with practical solutions, the study equips organizations to harness the transformative potential of AI while upholding societal and ethical principles.
