Теоретичні основи дослідження парної структурно-технологічної конвергенції

Abstract

A study of convergence in the structure of intermediate consumption in an economy has been conducted based of analysis of steam convergence corresponding of the corresponding structures of two economies as wholes. The author elaborates theoretical bases of the research on technological convergence and calculation of its indices. As the method of study, he chooses analysis of the dynamics of indexes of similarity and difference defined, for the structures under analysis, in all economic activities. In connection with the chosen research method, convergence of the structure of intermediate consumption is considered as a structural and technological convergence. For its analysis, the author proposes rates of convergence/divergence and approximation/alienation. He analyzes its average, weighted, aggregated and integrated indicators and reveals the advantage of the integral index as the most accurate one and such that allows for factor analysis.
