Innovative warehouse logistics: effects of implementing Industry 4.0 technologies

Abstract

The report analyses the impact of key Industry 4.0 technologies on the transformation of warehouse logistics. It considers the practical application of blockchain and virtual reality (VR)/augmented reality (AR) – as tools to improve the accuracy, speed and flexibility of logistics processes. The effects of digitalisation are highlighted, including automation, cost reduction, supply chain transparency and adaptability to market changes. Barriers to implementation are outlined, and strategic conditions for the development of Logistics 4.0 in Ukraine are formulated.
