    Predictive analysis of the interval material flow rates in transport conveyors based on experimental data

    This study examines a method for constructing a generator of random values of the input flow of material to form a training data set in highly efficient transport conveyor models based on a neural network. Dimensionless parameters are introduced that make it possible to represent the model of the input material flow of a transport conveyor in a dimensionless form. Coordinate functions are determined to approximate the experimental realization of the input material flow. A canonical decomposition of the experimental realization of the input material flow in terms of coordinate functions based on the use of fixed intervals is presented. For the selected canonical decomposition of the experimental realization of the input material flow, a theoretical correlation function is determined. It is shown that as the number of intervals increases, the correlation function of the experimental realization tends to the theoretical correlation function. The stages of constructing a random value generator for the input material flow are presented in detail. A comparative analysis of the experimental, approximated and generated realization for the input material flow is presented and estimates of the statistical characteristics of the realizations of the input material flow are given. The correlation functions constructed for the experimental, approximated and generated realizations of the input material flow are analyzed. An estimate is given of the length of the time interval required to carry out experimental changes in the input material flow.

    The Input Material Flow Model of the Transport Conveyor

    This paper discusses the problem of forming a data set for training a neural network used to build a model of a multi-section conveyor. The analysis of the models, which are used by designing the flow parameters control system of the transport system, is given. The conditions of applying a neural network in the transport conveyer model are justified and determined. Methods for generating a data set for training a neural network are discussed. As the main approach, the use of production data obtained from functioning transport conveyors is considered. Statistically processed data can be used to build generators of stochastic processes that model the incoming material flow for the transport system. The development of these generators to form the input flow of the material of the transport system opens up the possibility of analyzing and monitoring conveyor models in various modes of its configuration. A statistical analysis of the incoming material flow of the transport system was carried out and its number characteristics were determined. The correlation function characterizing the input flow of material for the transport system is considered. The introduction of dimensionless parameters to describe the input material flow made it possible to scale the results of work for a wide class of conveyor-type transport systems.

    Analysis of a Dataset for Modeling a Transport Conveyor

    The analysis of the works, which considered the use of neural networks for modeling a multi-section transport conveyor, was carried out. The prospects for the use of neural networks for the design of highly efficient control systems for the flow parameters of a multi-section transport conveyor are studied. The problem that limits the use of neural networks for building control systems for the flow parameters of a multi-section transport conveyor is considered. The possibility of constructing generators for generating a data set for the process of training a neural network is being studied. A method for generating a data set based on experimentally obtained measurements of the instantaneous values of the input material flow as a result of the operation of industrial transport systems is proposed. Using dimensionless variables, a statistical analysis of a stochastic flow of material entering the input of the transport system was performed. An estimate of the correlation time of a stochastic process characterizing the input flow of material is given. The recommendations on choosing the type of correlation function for the model of the input material flow were confirmed. It is demonstrated that the input flow of material is a non-stationary stochastic process. Approximations for modeling the input flow of materials of the operating transport system are considered.

    Use of analytical model for synthesis of algorithms for control of transport conveyor parameters

    This study presents a methodology for synthesizing optimal control algorithms for the flow parameters of a conveyor-type transport system with a variable transport delay. A multi-section transport conveyor is a complex dynamic system with a variable transport delay. The transport conveyor is an important element of the production system, used to synchronize technological operations and move material. The Analytical PiKh-model of the conveyor section was used as a model for designing a control system for flow parameters. The characteristic dimensionless parameters of the conveyor section are introduced and the similarity criteria for the conveyor sections are determined. The model of a conveyor section in a dimensionless form is used to develop a methodology for synthesizing algorithms for optimal control of the flow parameters of a transport conveyor section. The dependencies between the value of the input and output material flow of the section are determined, taking into account the initial distribution of the material along the conveyor section, variable transport delay, restrictions on the specific density of the material, and restrictions on the speed of the belt. The dependencies between the value of the input and output material flow for the case of a constant transport delay are analyzed. A technique for synthesizing algorithms for optimal belt speed control based on the PiKh-model of a conveyor section is presented. As a simplification, a two-stage belt speed control is considered. Particular attention is paid to the methodology for synthesizing optimal control algorithms based on the energy management methodology (TOU-Tariffs). The criteria of control quality are introduced and problems of optimal control of flow parameters of the transport system are formulated. Taking into account differential connections and restrictions on phase variables and admissible controls, which are typical for the conveyor section, the Pontryagin function and the adjoint system of equations are written. As examples demonstrating the design of optimal control, algorithms for optimal control of the flow parameters of the transport system are synthesized and analysis of optimal controls is performed.

    On the Characteristics of the Input Material Flow of the Transport Conveyor

    In this paper, the statistical characteristics of the flow of material entering the input of a conveyor-type transport system are studied. For a set of data obtained as a result of experimental measurements of the input flow of material, the law of distribution of a random variable and the correlation function is investigated. Theoretical assumptions about the law of change of the correlation function for the input flow of material are confirmed.

    Improvement of methods for description of a three-bunker collection conveyor

    The object of current research is a multi-section transport conveyor. The actual control problem of the flow parameters of a multi-section conveyor-type transport system with a given control quality criterion is solved. Algorithms for optimal control of the flow of material coming from the input accumulating bunkers into the collection section of the conveyor, ensuring the filling of the accumulating tank in the minimum time were synthesized. An admissible control of the material flow from the accumulating bunkers is found, which allow filling the accumulating tank, taking into account the given distribution of the material along the section of the collection conveyor at the initial and final moments of the filling time with minimal energy consumption. The synthesis of algorithms for optimal control of the material flow from accumulating bunkers became possible due to the determination of differential constraints in the optimal control problem based on an analytical distributed model of a transport conveyor section. The distinctive features of the results obtained are that the allowable controls contain restrictions on the maximum allowable load of material on the conveyor belt and take into account the initial and final distribution of material along the collection conveyor section. Also, a feature of the obtained results is the consideration of variable transport delay in the transport conveyor control model. The application area of the results is the mining industry. The developed models make it possible to synthesize algorithms for optimal control of the flow parameters of the transport system for a mining enterprise, taking into account the transport delay in the incoming of material at the output of the conveyor section. The condition for the practical use of the results obtained is the presence of measuring sensors in the sections of the transport conveyor that determine the belt speed and the amount of material in the accumulating bunkers.

    Synthesis of the algorithm for the flow parameters optimal control of the reversible conveyor

    The problem of optimal control of flow parameters of a conveyor-type transport system containing sections with reversible conveyors is considered. The object of the stady was an analytical model of a reversible transport conveyor for synthesizing an algorithm for optimal control of the flow parameters of a reversible transport conveyor. The goal of the work is to develop a synthesis technique for an algorithm for optimal control of the flow parameters of a reversible transport conveyor based on an analytical model of a conveyor section containing a transport delay. An analytical model of a reversible conveyor has been developed for the case of a constant speed of a conveyor belt, which makes it possible to determine the values of the output flows from the reverse section with known values of material flows coming to the input of the conveyor section. To build a model of the reversible section of the conveyor, an analytical model of the section of the conveyor in partial derivatives, containing the transport delay, was used. When constructing the model, the assumption was made about the instantaneous switching of the direction of movement of the conveyor belt, and it is also assumed that the interval between switching the direction of the belt speed exceeds the values of the transport delay for the conveyor section. To synthesize an algorithm for optimal control of the reversible conveyor, a control quality criterion was introduced. The formulation of the problem of optimal control of the flow parameters of the reversible conveyor is given, based on the Pontryagin maximum principle. The Hamilton function for the controlled system is written, taking into account the criterion of the quality of control of the reversible conveyor. A technique for synthesizing an algorithm for optimal control of the material output flow of a section of a reversible conveyor is demonstrated. The conditions for switching the direction of the speed of the conveyor belt are determined. The developed model of the reversible conveyor section is used to synthesize an algorithm for optimal control of the material output flow of the reversible conveyor section. A method for the synthesis of algorithms for optimal control of the flow parameters of a transport system with sections containing reversible conveyors has been developed. The construction of an analytical model opens up new perspectives for the design of transport conveyor control algorithms, which can be used to reduce the specific energy costs for material transportation in the mining industry.

    The problem of combined optimal load flow control of main conveyor line

    The combined method of flow parameters control of conveyor transport system is researched in this article. A transport system a distributed model with input accumulative bunker is developed for the optimal control synthesis. The transport system model is presented in dimensionless form. Expressions are obtained that determine the states of flow parameters along the transport route. The amount of transport delay was calculated for each technological position of the transport route at an arbitrary point in time. A system of characteristic equations is written down, the solution of which determines the trajectory of movement of a separate element of the transported material. Conditions are considered under which the material output flow does not depend on the initial filling of the conveyor section with the material. The algorithm of optimal control development of the material flow rate at the output from the accumulative bunker and the conveyor belt speed, which ensures the minimum deviation of the output cargo flow from a planned amount, is given. The optimal control algorithm takes into account the restrictions on the control modes of flow parameters and the volume of the accumulating bunker. It is shown that the developed control algorithm ensures the maximum filling of the transport system with material and forms a uniform distribution of material along the transportation route.
