Від 2014 року кафедра має назву "Педагогіка та психологія управління соціальними системами ім. акад. І. А. Зязюна", первісна назва – "Педагогіка та психологія управління соціальними системами".

Кафедра "Педагогіка та психологія управління соціальними системами" – перша та єдина в Україні кафедра серед технічних ЗВО України, яка цілеспрямовано займається проблемами лідерства та управлінської підготовки на різних рівнях освіти, створена 15 лютого 2000 року. Від 2000 року під керівництвом чл.-коресп. НАПН України, доктора педагогічних наук, професора Олександра Георгійовича Романовського функціонує наукова школа лідерства "Формування особистості лідера в науці, освіті, бізнесі", від 2015 року – Центр лідерства.

Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту соціально-гуманітарних технологій Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут".

У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 2 доктора педагогічних наук, 1 доктор наук з державного управління, 12 кандидатів педагогічних, 11 – психологічних, 2 – технічних, 1 – мистецтвознавства, 1– філософських, 1 – наук з державного управління; 5 співробітників мають звання професора, 21 – доцента.

    Analysis of the level of labor potential development in higher educational institutions of Ukraine: competitiveness of university graduates

    The article focuses on the possibility of using the criterion of competitiveness of domestic higher education institutions in the international labor market to analyze the level of development of labor potential of a particular university. In the article the relationship between the level of professional competence of future professionals and the quality of labor potential of universities which were involved in their formation and development. This article contains statistical information on the results of participation of Ukrainian university students in international student competitions, which the author used to characterize the quality of professional institutions in the field of competitiveness of future specialists. In addition, the article contains generalizations as for the possibility of usage the competitiveness feature level of graduates as an indicator (index) of the quality of university's labor potential.

    The institute of corporate university and its experience for development of labor potential of a classic higher education institution

    This article focuses on some historical aspects of the formation and development of corporate training centers with taking into account the peculiarities of their functioning within a modern system of vocational education. In the article there is defined the categorical meaning of corporate education, and formulated the goal of corporate functioning of the institution. This article contains the author's opinion on the content of category definitions of corporate education and corporate university, and the results justify the importance of relevant experience of the Institute for the development of labor potential of classic form of higher education. In addition, the article presents generalizations about the possibility of using the traditional mechanisms of corporate universities to develop their own labor potential, within the system of classical universities in terms of improving the content of vocational training of subjects and objects of the educational process.

    The article is devoted to the problems of the leader's personality development in the context of the content of individual socio-psychological aspects of its formation. An attempt on the specification of the objects and the process of development of the individual leader and clarified the nature of the development process within the general content of the interpretation of the relevant category. There were considered several specific age periods of personal development (adolescence) in the context of their compliance with the main periods of human socialization and development of leadership qualities. The place and role of public institutes and institutions in shaping personality traits of new leader. In addition, the article contains the conclusions and generalizations about the content of individual socio-psychological characteristics of the leader's personality development.
