Сучасна назва – кафедра "Загальна економічна теорія", первісна назва – кафедра "Політична економія".

Кафедра "Політична економія" була створена у 1950 році. У її джерел стояв видатний економіст академік Олексій Матвійович Румянцев.

Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту економіки, менеджменту і міжнародного бізнесу Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут".

У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 1 доктор та 9 кандидатів економічних наук; 1 співробітник має звання професора, 9 – доцента.

    Marketing prerequisites for entering the enterprise in the international market of information technologies

    It is substantiated that for a successful entry into the world market, an information enterprise needs to solve a number of important issues: to determine the desired and most attractive market segment that corresponds to the material capabilities of the enterprise; risks; choose the time to market; assess the scale of market entry; substantiate the way (form) of entering the international market. It is recommended to build a future strategy of the information enterprise in the international market using the concept of three horizons: the first horizon reflects the work of the enterprise to further improve the existing information product; the second horizon reflects the work of the enterprise to find new sources of profit; the third horizon reflects the capabilities of the enterprise, given the availability of the required amount of material and intellectual resources, access to international markets with a progressive information product developed on the basis of the blockchain.

    Motivation of personnel on machine-building enterprise

    The article is devoted to the study of theoretical and methodical aspects of motivation of the personnel of industrial enterprises. Based on the study of existing scientific research, it is specified: the flow of the motivational process, the concept of «competence», the classification of competences in the motivational aspect. In the work, five levels of formation and study of motivation are identified, which systematize the accumulated theoretical and practical experience. A methodical approach is proposed for the formation of groups of motivation factors based on the use of the block-modular method. Methodical support of the mechanism for identifying the key factors of motivation, which allows to identify the factors that have the greatest impact on the employee, has been developed. A methodical approach to the evaluation of motivation factors based on a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the level of motivation is proposed, which makes it possible to carry out an assessment depending on the goals set.
