Optimization of the duration of collection of orders on the enterprise’s products

Abstract

The subject of the study became the procedure for planning the production of an industrial firm, based on the performance of only received orders. In this case, random fluctuations in the volume of orders cause either excessive loading on production, or downtime. It is shown that an increase in the duration of the collection period of orders can reduce production losses. Investigated one of the possible models of economically justified choice of the duration of collection of orders. In it are uses approximate estimates of losses due to the unevenness of the flow of order volumes and the reduction in orders due to long terms of their fulfillment.
