Від грудня 2021 року кафедра має назву "Менеджмент", попередня назва – "Менеджмент та оподаткування".
Кафедра "Менеджмент та оподаткування" заснована у 1991 році, добре відомим в Україні організатором науки та освіти, доктором технічних наук, заслуженим діячем науки і техніки України, академіком Леонідом Миколайовичем Івіним та є першою в Україні кафедрою менеджменту.
Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту економіки, менеджменту і міжнародного бізнесу Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут". За понад 30-річний період кафедрою здійснено підготовку і випуск понад 2000 фахівців в області менеджменту.
У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 3 доктора економічних наук, 23 кандидата наук: 18 –економічних, 2 – технічних, 1 – фізико-математичних, 1 – педагогічних, 1 – наук з державного управління; 2 співробітника мають звання професора, 18 – доцента. Викладачі кафедри мають практичний міжнародний досвід та володіють англійською мовою, що дає змогу проводити навчання як українською, так і англійською мовами.

The study focuses on several critical aspects of HR digital transformation including recruitment, employee development, performance evaluation, and engagement strategies. It systematically examines the impact of digital technologies on these HR functions and assesses how they contribute to creating a more effective work environment. The research underscores the potential of digital tools to not only streamline HR processes but also to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency. Empirical evidence from leading companies that have successfully integrated digital HR solutions suggests significant cost reductions and improved operational efficiency. The paper analyzes these cases to identify the benefits and challenges associated with HR digitalization. It further discusses the implications of these technologies on corporate culture and the overall workforce management. Ultimately, this article provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities presented by HR digitalization. It offers insights into effective strategies for implementing digital transformations in HR processes, based on practical examples from industry leaders. By integrating digital technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing, IT companies are redefining the landscape of business process management. The paper examines how IT companies' digital technologies have evolved as business processes have been optimised, management decision-making processes have been improved, and service quality has been enhanced. It also looks at issues such as data security, privacy concerns and the need for skilled labour. The evolution of digitalization in IT Companies is investigated through the prism of retrospective historical analysis of how digitalization has evolved in the IT sector and early adaptations, the shift towards more integrated digital solutions. The research methodology includes a blend of qualitative and quantitative approaches, analyzing case studies from various IT companies that have successfully navigated the digital transformation journey. The findings indicate that digitalization, when strategically implemented, leads to significant improvements in process efficiency, cost reduction, and competitive advantage. However, it also necessitates a cultural shift within organizations, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptation to technological advancements. At the same time, in recent years, domestic trade enterprises have been operating in the face of global challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and now they are facing the consequences of the ongoing large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. In particular today, a significant number of trade enterprises faced problems relocation, deterioration of supply conditions and disruption of logistics chains, complication of product sales processes, outflow of highly qualified personnel for border, the need to transfer employees to remote work, loss property, lack of sufficient equity, which is directly negative affects their effectiveness and efficiency and complicates (makes it impossible) further development. For many years, the logistics industry remains to be one of the most actively growing industries. However, there are some barriers that prevent many logistics companies from their expansion and growth, including the lack of access to real-time data that can demonstrate the most relevant road conditions, low control over delivery processes, low transparency of supply chain stages, and inaccurate route planning. The startup is the first necessary stage of the life cycle of innovation. In order for the innovation to be successful, the design thinking methodology is used, which increases the predictability of success, speed of market entry and reduction of investment risks in the innovation. Actively working system of support for start-ups is the basis of active innovation activities, increasing the volume of innovative products, export of high-tech products. Development of startup projects is widespread abroad. It was found that the peculiarity of these successful projects is that they bring high profits, as well as raise the level of the economy in their countries. It is stated that it is important to study the issue of successful launch and implementation of startups through the structures that contribute to their development. Moreover, it is obvious that design thinking is the most successful methodology for creating innovations, which is actively used by various world-renowned companies. This article formulates a methodological model of design thinking for the main characteristics of startup success. The implementation of this model includes the following steps: generalization of the "startup" concept, generalization of the "design thinking" concept, identification of the stages of the startup life cycle, systematization of the key components of successfully realized startups, and analysis of the design thinking capabilities of the startup.
