Кафедра "Фізичне виховання" заснована в 1950 році з ініціативи тодішнього ректора, професора Михайла Федоровича Семка у зв’язку з реорганізацією кафедри військово-прикладної підготовки. Першим її завідувачем був Костянтин Терентійович Черниченко .
Спеціальність "Фізична культура і спорт" заснована в 1994 році. Кафедра володіє унікальною матеріальною базою для занять більш ніж з 30 видів спорту і рекреації.
Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту соціально-гуманітарних технологій Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут".
На кафедрі працюють понад 50 викладачів, тренерів, вчених, з них: 4 кандидата педагогічних наук, 2 кандидата технічних наук, 1 кандидат психологічних наук, 1– доктор філософії; 8 співробітників мають звання доцента, 1 – старшого наукового співробітника.

Документ Coping strategies of free style wrestlers of different manners of battles(Видавничий дім "Гельветика", 2023) Yevtyfiiev, Andrii; Bochkarev, Sergiy; Poliakov, Ihor; Yevtyfiieva, Iryna; Donets, Yuriy; Khirniy, SergiyPurpose: to determine psychological indicators of 14-15-year-old freestyle wrestlers of various manners of fighting in conditions of increased intensity of competitive activity. Materials and methods. The study of psychological characteristics of freestyle wrestlers was carried out in the pre competition stage at the sports base of the freestyle wrestling section of the public organization "SKVB "Kolizei"" in Kharkiv. 47 wrestlers aged 14-15 took part in the study, who were divided into conditional groups according to the criterion of fighting style: playing style (n = 13), tempo style (n = 15) and strength style (n = 19). Diagnostics of psychological parameters was carried out using: the Lazarus coping test, aimed at identifying strategies for getting out of difficult situations; the Eysenck personality questionnaire in order to determine the level of neuroticism and values of the extroversion/introversion scale, as well as the type of temperament; the Spielberg-Khanin test to identify indicators of personal and situational anxiety of wrestlers. Mathematical processing of the research results was carried out using the SPSS 23 program. The results. In the course of the analisys of the results of the coping test, it was established that the strategies of planning a problem solution (X=14.1, m=2.36) and seeking social support (X=12.3, m=2.78). Representatives of the tempo and force manner of fighting are characterized by the dominance of the confrontation strategy (X=13.3, m=2.89) and (X=12.9, m=3.84), respectively, acceptance of responsibility (X=12.1, m =2.59) and (X=13.1, m=3.55), respectively, and self-control in the tempo group of wrestlers (X=12.0, m=2.30). The study of types of temperament in wrestlers of different manners of conducting a match revealed the predominance of phlegmatics in all groups: playing style (61.5%), tempo (60.0%) and strength (52.6%). Conclusions. In the course of the study, reliable differences were found in the choice of a strategy for getting out of a problematic situation among representatives of different manners of fighting. Cream candies contain a protein-fat composite based on flax, sesame and sunflower seeds. These products can be used both in everyday and in special nutrition of athletes, soldiers, heavy manual workers, children and young people. It was determined that the oxidative stability of the model creamy candy mass increased with the concentration of protein-fat composite in it. The positive effect of the plant supplement on taste, aroma and "mouth-feeling" sensation parameters was proved by the obtained profilogram of organoleptic quality control parameters of experimental samples of candy masses with different content of protein-fat composite. Thus, it was established that the protein-fat composite in the composition of sweets improved its organoleptic and physicochemical quality control parameters, and also increased shelf life. The aim of research is to determine the effect of consistency stabilizers on the viscosity of reconstituted hypertonic drink for athletes based on flaxseed cake, sesame seeds and whey protein concentrate.The mass fraction of protein in the model dry mixture of a hypertonic drink, as well as in its individual components by the Kjeldahl method, the mass fraction of fiber – by the gravimetric method, the mass fraction of lipids – by the extraction-gravimetric method, the mass fraction of moisture – by the thermogravimetric method. The mass fraction of ash in the mixtures was carried out by the method of incineration followed by calcining the mineral residue at a temperature of 450 ... 600 °C. The effective viscosity in the reduced samples of mixtures without and with the addition of stabilizers was determined on a rotational viscometer "Rheotest 2". For the planning of the experiment and data processing, mathematical methods were applied using the Microsoft Office Excel 2003 software package.The chemical composition of individual components and a model dry mixture of a hypertonic drink for the nutrition of athletes, including the content of compounds that have a stabilizing effect on the restored product, has been investigated. It has been proved that the effective viscosity of the reconstructed model mixture in comparison with the effective viscosity of the individual components of the mixture nonaditively increases. The mutual influence of the consistency stabilizers (gum arabic (E 414) and carboxymethylcellulose (E 466)) on the val-ue of the effective viscosity of the reconstituted hypertonic drink was investigated. The developed model mixture of a hypertonic drink is recommended to be used for the development of competitive dry mixtures of hypertonic drinks of plant and animal origin for the nutrition of athletes.
