Від 2021 року кафедра перейменована та має назву "Підприємництво, торгівля i логістика" (Наказ 552 ОД від 26.11.2021 року), попередня назва – "Підприємництво, торгівля та експертиза товарів", первісна – кафедра комерційної, торговельної та підприємницької діяльності.
Кафедра комерційної, торговельної та підприємницької діяльності заснована в 2017 році.
Кафедра входить до складу Навчально-наукового інституту економіки, менеджменту і міжнародного бізнесу Національного технічного університету "Харківський політехнічний інститут". Викладачі кафедри є членами Харківського осередку Українського товариства товарознавців і технологів (УТТТ), що входить до Міжнародній асоціації товарознавства, інновацій та сталого розвитку (International Association of Commodity Science, Innovation and Sustainability) IACSIS.
У складі науково-педагогічного колективу кафедри працюють: 3 доктора наук: 2 – економічних, 1 – технічних; 7 кандидатів наук: 4 –економічних, 3 – технічних; 3 співробітника мають звання професора, 6 – доцента.

Публікація Innovative patient monitoring systems as a tool for digitalization and entrepreneurship development in healthcare(2024) Serhiienko, Olena; Samus, PavloПублікація Simulation and optimisation of business process management: case study of IT company(2024) Serhiienko, Olena; Mashchenko, Maryna; Samorodov, Borys; Babichev, Anatoliy; Klimenko, OlenaIn managing business processes of complex hierarchical systems, primary attention is given to analysing, accelerating, and optimising the basic processes typical for any company. Objectives: The goal of this work is to prove that while managing business processes, it is crucial to consider the peculiarities of the external and internal environment to determine the effects of individual triggers. Method: An example of business process analysis was provided regarding the peculiarities of managing IT service companies operating in a dynamic environment of rapid technological changes. The business processes analysis of IT service companies in Ukraine was conducted. Business process groups characterised by low use of labour and financial resources and excessive and high levels of risk management were determined. Results: An algorithm for optimising the IT company's business processes was developed. Simulation and optimisation models for managing IT company business processes were developed using scenario modelling and simulation techniques. Conclusion: Based on these models, a predictive evaluation of management impacts on business processes was conducted, representing individual clusters according to defined management strategies.Публікація Investigation of modern investment opportunities with cryptocurrency market: optimization(2024) Chernova, Natalia; Serhiienko, Olena; Bril, Mykhailo; Bilotserkivskyi, Oleksandr; Kochorba, ValeriiaThe research aim is to study effects of cryptocurrencies inclusion into an in vestment portfolio. To achieve the aim, portfolios with different composition of traditional and crypto assets are to be formed and compared. Methodology. It is proposed to conduct the following steps of the appropriate algorithm of investigating modern opportunities with cryptocurrency market: 1) preliminary analysis of the relationships and interdependencies between traditional assets and crypto assets; 2) formation of the initial set of crypto assets that can be potentially included into portfolio; 3) efficient frontier assessment for portfolios with different initial composition of assets; 4) comparative assessment and result analysis. Findings. The algorithm was implemented for the initial set of five most common traditional assets and ten cryptocurrencies. The latter constituents list was formed according to the value of market capitalization. Than the initial set of crypto assets was reduced according to their multidimensional distances from traditional assets. The results obtained allow to conclude that there are opportunities of portfolio efficiency increase via crypto assets inclusion in its structure. The increase value varies noticeably and depends on the particular kind of crypto assets, their total share and number. Originality. This research suggests to conduct additional preliminary procedures to choose potential candidates to be included into the traditional portfolio among initial set of crypto assets. Firstly, market capitalization value and low correlations with traditional portfolio constituents are taken into account. Secondly, all assets are presented as points in two-dimensional risk-return space and crypto assets are chosen according to the multidi mensional distance measure value.Публікація Model for Predictive Analysis of International Trade Based on the Dynamics of Stock Indices (Example of Data from the USA, Canada and UK)(2022) Rudenko, Diana; Serhiienko, Olena; Zeleniy, Oleksandr; Lyashenko, VyacheslavForecasting is one of the tools for assessing the functioning and development of processes, phenomena, objects. This tool has found its application in all areas of research. Among these areas of research, one should single out the direction that is associated with the economy. This is important because such studies help to assess the level of economic development, the welfare of mankind, to find ways for the further functioning and development of various processes, phenomena, objects. To solve the tasks set, various models are used that help to implement a certain forecast scheme. At the same time, the construction of such models involves the implementation of the corresponding stages of modeling. Such modeling steps help determine the type of the final model and implement the required predictive model. Therefore, we pay special attention to the individual stages of predictive modeling. The efficiency of building a predictive model is also determined by the applied problem that needs to be solved in the modeling process. In this paper, we consider the elements of a predictive model for the analysis of international trade. To do this, we use data on the dynamics of stock indices. In particular, we use the dynamics of stock indices, which describe the activities of banking institutions. To build individual elements of the predictive model, we use the apparatus of wavelet theory. Among the tools of wavelet theory, we use wavelet coherence. We also propose an approach for comparing different estimates of wavelet coherence. This approach is based on comparing the corresponding wavelet coherence estimates and visualizing the results. This allows you to better understand the mutual dynamics of stock indices and evaluate the dynamics of international trade. An analysis of materials on this topic showed that the effectiveness of defeating all types of UA Vs by existing means of air defense and electronic warfare is quite high. However, the problem of countering small UA Vs, based on the experience of the war in Ukraine, is not resolved. The purpose of the article is to analyze the UA V, as an object of detection and countermeasures, using acoustic means of airspace control with minimal economic costs.
