Ye.The article deals with the pedagogical conditions of using multimedia technologies in the process of distance learning of English for students of non-language higher educational institutions. The analysis of scientific sources on the study of the use of computer tools in the process of distance learning of a foreign language is carried out. The effectiveness of modern multimedia technologies in teaching English is substantiated and multimedia tools that significantly increase students' motivation and, as a result, the quality of their foreign language training are identified. The new possibilities of presenting educational material that open up to the teacher due to the introduction of multimedia resources into the educational process are highlighted. Considerable attention is paid to the role of feedback in ensuring effective interaction between student and teacher in the process of learning a foreign language in a distance format. It is noted that it is necessary to adhere to the principle of blended learning in the process of mastering a foreign language by students in the realities of distance learning, which also contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of foreign language teaching. The most important pedagogical condition of distance learning of English is determined, which is the professionalization of training of future specialists. V.; Sadkoska, V. A.The article deals with teaching grammar in Ukrainian education community. Students start learning grammar at secondary, sometimes even at primary schools, and continue acquiring it while studying at institutions of higher education. However, qualitative progress in grammar usage while writing and speaking English is rarely seen. One possible explanation is that there is a widely adopted approach in Ukrainian education system according to which the formation of grammatical competence goes through a number of fixed steps from grammar knowledge to speech practice. It is assumed that detailed and thorough knowledge of rules of English grammar and their difference from grammar rules of the Ukrainian language contributes to better understanding of peculiar features of the English language and further it positively influences the acquisition of all language skills and abilities. Unfortunately, considering the real situation of teaching English at Ukrainian universities under conditions of insufficient class-room academic hours, such an approach does not bring desired results. The results of studies aimed at the development of computer-integrated components of the automated decision-making support system (ADMSS) for operational and maintenance personnel of NPP units by the criterion of technical and economic efficiency, taking into account the diagnostics of the state of the power unit equipment, are presented. The general structure of the software package interaction for the analysis of the performance and parameter diagnostics of NPP units with WWER has been developed. When creating the software package, the integrated programming environment Microsoft Visual Studios was used. The structure of the program block for the parameter diagnostics of the equipment of nuclear power units is presented. The main types of problems arising during the operation of NPP units with WWER, that can be solved with the help of the developed ADMSS are considered, and a form for presenting the results to the operational and maintenance personnel of power units is proposed. Developed on the basis of the described computer-integrated components, the automated decision-making support system for the operational and maintenance personnel of NPP power units can be used to solve a wide range of problems arising in the practice of short-, medium- and long-term control of the operation modes of power unit systems and equipment, including obtaining operational (energy) characteristics of power unit systems and equipment, optimizing operation modes and parameters, diagnosing and forecasting technical state of power equipment, predicting the amount of electrical and thermal energy generated by a power unit, as well as optimizing NPP repair cycles.
